Chess Vice-Champion, World Cup winner, Guinness record holder Sergei Karjakin held a simultaneous game session with 20 opponents in the Gafuriysky district of Bashkiria. The strongest students of the children’s and youth sports school of the Krasnousolskoye village and amateurs opposed the famous athlete.

The session lasted two hours. Karjakin won every one and marked two opponents: nine-year-old Daniil Nikiforov and 12-year-old Timerbulat Arslanov.

“The main thing is to enjoy the game; in this case, the defeat is not scary. To achieve a result, you need a desire to progress, to win. Everyone has a chance, the most important thing is to improve yourself, and then the result will certainly come,” the grandmaster noted.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that Sergei Karjakin was preparing for the World Chess Cup at the Krasnousolsky health resort in Bashkiria.
