Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2021 / Kabar /. On Feb. 23, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Erlan Abdyldaev took part in the solemn ceremony of laying wreaths by the heads of the diplomatic missions of the CIS member states to the Soviet War Memorial in the Tiergarten on the occasion of the celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that, the event was also attended by representatives of public organizations and people from the CIS countries living in Germany.
The Soviet War Memorial in Tiergarten commemorates the Red Army soldiers who fought and fell in the battle for Berlin in 1945.
