Bishkek, June 14, 2021. / Kabar /. The festival of Russian culture “Russian soul” was held in Bishkek on weekend to coincide with the celebration of the Russia Day, the capital’s mayor’s office reported.
The event took place in the park in the open air, in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological norms and rules.
Vice Mayor of Bishkek for social issues Victoria Mozgacheva and head of the Pervomaisky district Aida Rysbaeva made a greeting for the guests of the event, the report said.
Also, a concert, a fair of Russian goods, a gastronomic festival with tasting of Russian cuisine, excursions, games, fashion shows, a play for children, master classes and an interactive program “Russian round dance” were prepared for the guests of the festival.
All day long, artists, dancers, performers, bright characters of Russian fairy tales delighted children and adults with a rich interactive program.
The festival was held with the support of the mayor’s office of the capital, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, active organizational assistance was provided by the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots in the Kyrgyz Republic, the NGO “Union of Compatriots”.
